HOW TO:
- Heat the heat press to 325F and time for 15 sec.
- While it is heating up get your product ready. If you are doing a shirt, hoodie or even tote you will need to prepare it. Take the print and fold it in half only to crease the top and bottom (try not to crease the image to much).
- Once the Heat press is warmed up 250F or more go ahead and put the item flat on your heat press, press the object for 10-15 sec to get out excess moisture.
- This is the time you will make sure your pressure is good, I make sure to have a good medium to full pressure to get full coverage on the transfers, i will sometimes use a Teflon pillow if i think it is still not giving good pressure.
- Now fold the item in half, make sure it lines up nicely, lay on the heat press and press for 10 sec to cause a nice crease. (the thicker the item the longer it will need to be pressed to get a good crease).
- Once the heat press is heated all the way lay your item on the press, make sure it is flat and lined up so the press will lay where you want it to.
- Now grab the transfer and lay it on the item you are pressing it on, line up the crease on the image with the crease you made on the item. (ideal rule is 3 fingers from the collar of shirt or hoodie to place top of image)
- Close your press until it locks in place and let it run its 15 sec countdown.
- Once it pops open or you open it (if you do not have one that opens for you) remove the item from the press and lay on a table away from the press and let it cool down completely.
- Once it is completely cooled down start at a corner and peel slowly (do not pull straight up, peel at an angle) if it looks like it is not sticking to the product you will need to press again with more pressure.
- once you finish peeling the transfer paper off, bring back over to the press and press again but this time use Teflon sheet over the image (if you do not have Teflon sheet go ahead and re use the transfer sheet) Press again for another 15 sec.
- Peel the Teflon sheet off and you are done!!!
Make sure to have it last wash inside out, tumble dry or hand dry.
